UNIT VISIT : Twice a year, students have the opportunity to experience the real world by visiting different industries, including Vizag Steel Plant, IRE, Heritage, and more, under the guidance of senior faculty. These unit visits provide valuable experience and make our students well-equipped for the professional world.
INDUSTRIAL TOUR : Our students have the chance to participate in an industrial tour every year in November and December for a week. The IT tour takes them to cities like Bangalore, Vizag, and Hyderabad, where they can explore their knowledge and learn how to work in a practical environment. Besides learning, the students enjoy a week of teamwork, coordination, cooperation, and mutual help.
SUMMER INTERNSHIP : Summer vacation is not only for relaxation, but it is also an opportunity to improve oneself. Our college offers students a chance to learn spoken English, various programming languages, and project training during the summer break. These extra courses are taught by highly qualified and experienced teachers with rich industrial experience.
TALENT HUNT: To uncover the hidden talents of our students, we organize a program after completing classroom activities. The students participate in various competitions such as cooking, corporate grooming, ad-mad show, poster making, theme painting, voice of presidency, and foot fast, among others. This talent hunt helps students discover and showcase their unique talents.
I CAN SPEAK: To enhance the quality of education, we organize various activities such as “English Day” every Thursday to improve students’ communication skills. Every Tuesday, we conduct a seminar week to increase students’ knowledge by researching different topics.
SPORTS: We believe that “health is wealth,” so we organize an annual sports day every year in February to keep our students fit and healthy. Students are awarded based on their performance on the same day of the event.
SPIRITUAL We celebrate Saraswati Puja and Ganesh Puja with full enthusiasm every year to bless our students.
OBSERVATORY DAY: We celebrate Independence Day every year on the 15th of August to feel proud of our Nationalism. On this day, we organize patriotic events and offer prizes to the winning students to create a sense of patriotism. On the 26th of January, we celebrate Republic Day to honor the sovereignty of India Republic and instil the importance of national building in our students.
BLOOD DONATION CAMP: Every year on the 1st of November, Presidency College, in collaboration with MKCG Medical College, organizes a Blood Donation Camp where we collect around 100 units of blood for social use. Every student participates in this program every year.
CHARITY PROGRAM: Every year, in the first week of November, Presidency College organizes a charity week. Throughout the week, the college visits, after the class time, different orphan centers, old-age homes, etc., and spends the whole day with them. We try to make them happy and fulfil their needs to the best of our ability.
